Afro-Arab Relations

Malaz Albdwi is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Afro-Arab Relations. Born in Sudan, she combines a background in media and journalism with a focus on African and international affairs to explore the geopolitical and cultural ties between Africa and the Arab world. Her research examines how international media shapes Afro-Arab diplomatic discourse, influences regional integration, and fosters cross-cultural understanding. Malaz investigates the intersections of media diplomacy, public diplomacy, and intercultural communication, aiming to bridge identity, policy, and global affairs through informed reporting. She seeks to translate her academic insight into professional practice as a specialized international correspondent, connecting media analysis with strategic cooperation across Afro-Arab contexts.
