Learn Languages

Global Studies University offers community courses in Arabic, Amharic, Hausa, and Kiswahili through the Language and Translation Program. Designed for non-native speakers, the courses develop practical communication skills and cultural understanding, with opportunities to progress from elementary through intermediate to advanced study.

The program is open to learners around the world seeking personal or professional development. Participants may include students, professionals, researchers, educators, heritage learners, and other members of the community. Courses are taught by faculty from The Africa Institute and delivered online, in person, or through hybrid instruction, depending on the language and course.

Launched in 2023, the program is licensed by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA).
