Bisrat Yirga Kebede is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Afro-Arab Relations. From Ethiopia, his research focuses on diplomatic relations, investment flows, and trade dynamics between Africa and the Middle East, particularly UAE–Ethiopia relations. Drawing on a background in political science and international relations, along with professional experience in diplomacy and cultural engagement, Bisrat examines Africa’s global positioning beyond Eurocentric perspectives, with research interests in diplomatic relations, African global studies, Afro-Arab relations, UAE–Ethiopia relations, diplomacy, and postcolonial theories.
