Afro-Arab Relations

Hamid Awol Yimer is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Afro-Arab Relations. From Ethiopia, his research examines the 1974 Ethiopian revolution as a lens to explore exchanges of ideas and solidarities among African and Arab peoples in their struggles against colonialism and imperialism. Drawing on his experience as a journalist and scholar, Hamid investigates historical, cultural, and political intersections between Africa and the Arab world, aiming to contribute to interdisciplinary studies on Afro-Arab relations in a global context.
