Afro-Arab Relations

Mohammed Saeed AwadElseed Taha is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Afro-Arab Relations. Born and raised in Sudan, Mohammed is a linguist, musician, and singer whose work explores the intersections of language, music, and cultural communication. He investigates how linguistic and musical practices reflect shared histories, social values, and cultural identities and how they shape Afro-Arab relations. His research focuses on cultural exchanges, intercultural communication, migration and diaspora, and the role of heritage and oral traditions in fostering dialogue. Mohammed aims to apply his expertise in diplomacy, cultural institutions, or international organizations to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding between African and Arab societies.
