Habib Mahamat Saleh is a Master of Arts candidate in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Afro-Arab Relations. From Chad, his research examines the historical and contemporary dimensions of Afro-Arab relations, with a particular focus on diplomatic, cultural, educational, and economic ties between Chad, the UAE, and the broader Sahel region. Fluent in French, English, Arabic, Turkish, and Sango, and currently studying Kiswahili, he approaches intercultural diplomacy with the conviction that language breaks barriers and opens new horizons. His work is driven by a belief that understanding Africa's shared histories is inseparable from engaging the challenges and opportunities the continent faces today.
