Wezi Kestina Mwamulowe is a Master of Arts student in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University, specializing in Diplomacy and Africa’s International Relations, from Zambia. Her research examines how diplomacy and trade shape Africa’s position in the global distribution of power, particularly amid strategic competition and regional integration efforts. She focuses on the impact of trade agreements, foreign investments, and regional economic communities on Africa’s influence and development outcomes. Drawing on her background in international economics and trade, Wezi integrates economic expertise with critical geopolitical analysis to study how African states leverage economic and diplomatic tools to negotiate partnerships, maintain sovereignty, and pursue sustainable development.
