Before starting your application for graduate programs at Global Studies University (GSU), it is essential to gather all necessary documents and carefully follow the application guidelines. A complete and accurate submission will ensure that your application is processed smoothly. Below is a checklist of what to prepare, depending on whether you are applying from within the UAE or internationally.
  1. Certified Copy of Bachelor’s degree and transcript: This document shows your academic performance and includes the grading scale. If the Bachelor’s degree and transcript are not in English, a legal translation is required.
  2. Equivalency Certificate: If you graduated from institutions outside the UAE, you must obtain equivalency certificate(s) issued by the UAE Ministry of Education to ensure your foreign degree is recognized in the UAE.   3. IELTS/TOFEL score certificate
  4. Statement of Purpose (1,000 – 1500 words): In your statement of purpose, you should articulate your reasons for pursuing the specific graduate program, your academic and career goals, and how the program aligns with your aspirations. This is your opportunity to explain why you’re a strong candidate for the program.
  5. Detailed CV/Resume
  6. One writing sample
  7. Recommendation letters from two referees
  8. Passport-style photograph on a white background
  9. Valid passport copy
  10. Valid UAE visa copy (for UAE nationals/residents)
  11. Valid Emirates ID card copy (for UAE nationals/residents)
  12. Payment of Application fee: AED 365 (non-refundable)

When preparing your application to Global Studies University (GSU), ensure that all transcripts and test scores come from an official source, and use your name exactly as it appears on your passport or birth certificate. Before submitting, double-check that all documents are accurate and meet the specified requirements. Remember that all submitted materials become the property of GSU and will not be returned. Providing truthful information is essential, as the university reserves the right to withdraw admission offers or terminate student registration if any false statements or omissions are discovered.
