Sataan Al-Hassan is the Director of Administration and Operations at Global Studies University. He joined The Africa Institute in 2019 as Head of Publications, Programming, and Research and has since advanced to his current role. Al-Hassan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Film Studies from the American University of Sharjah and an MSc in Political Theory from the University of Edinburgh, where his dissertation examined the permissibility of humanitarian intervention in liberal democracies.
